Refund Policy
When a course can be refunded, when it cannot, and how to request one.

- August 10, 2026
- Version
- refund-2026-08-10
1. The short version
You may request a refund within 90 days of purchase, provided you have not used the course. Once you have started, a refund is not automatic: partial completions are reviewed individually and may be declined.
This applies to everything we sell, including the 40-hour RBT training and continuing education courses.
2. The 90-day window
Refund requests must reach us within 90 days of the purchase date. This applies to every request, including courses that were never started.
The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge, which we will always correct. See section 7.
3. Before you use a course
If you have not started a course, contact us and we will refund it.
Opening the first section counts as starting. For seats an organization purchased but never assigned to anyone, nothing has been used and the seat is refundable.
4. After you have started
Once a course has been started, a refund is no longer automatic. We will consider the request and decide case by case, and we may decline it. BehaviorChain LLC reserves the right to deny a refund to anyone who has already begun a course.
Things that weigh on the decision:
- How much of the course has been completed.
- Whether a completion certificate or continuing education credit has already been issued. Once credit has been reported we cannot withdraw it, and the course is not refundable.
- Whether the problem is with the course rather than the purchase. If a course was not what its description said it would be, tell us. That is a problem with our description and we will make it right.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@behaviorchainllc.com or use our contact form with the subject “Pricing & Billing.” Include the email address on the account, which course it concerns, and the approximate purchase date. Telling us why is optional, but it helps us improve the course.
6. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. We will confirm by email once the refund is issued; your bank or card issuer typically takes another 5 to 10 business days to post it. We do not refund to a different payment method.
When a course is refunded, access to it ends and any progress on it may be removed.
7. Duplicate and incorrect charges
Duplicate charges and billing errors are refunded in full whenever you notice them. These are not judgment calls, so neither the 90-day window in section 2 nor the case-by-case review in section 4 applies to them.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. A dispute suspends the account while it is being resolved, and it takes far longer than simply asking us for a refund.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, and each version carries a version identifier and effective date shown at the top of this page. The version in effect on your purchase date is the one that applies to that purchase. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
